How does the girl-girl sex shoot day run?

📸 The images in this FAQ are from behind-the-scenes of girl-girl sex shoots we have made.

Arrive

You and your shoot partner arrive on set, to meet the Shoot Producer. This may be a Shoot Producer you have already worked with before (if the shoot is taking place in the same city you made other shoots with us). Your Shoot Producer will make sure your guys are properly introduced.

“Speaking with the person before is really helpful. I spoke with my other shoot partner before our Video masturbation shoot too. We were more comfortable with each other and things felt more natural that way.” (Gizela, Nov 2021)

Grooming checks

As for Solo shoots, the Shoot Producer does a Grooming check of each model. More info.

Backstage begins

The Shoot Producer will take behind-the-scenes images throughout the shoot day of you and your shoot partner. All the images on this page are Backstage images from girl-girl shoots. More info on how Backstage works.

Paperwork and IDs

As for Solo shoots, the Shoot Producer organises paperwork and captures IDs for each model (usually in Homonoia, our smartphone app for this).

Clothing selection

Again, similar to Solo shoots, the Shoot Producer works with both models to select clothing to be worn in the shoot. You might help select your partner’s clothes and vice-versa. More info on clothing.

Get clean

You Shoot Producer will ask you and your shoot partner to have a shower, paying special attention to your pubic region, anus, feet, and underarms. And, brush your teeth. 🪥

Warm-up activities

Because it’s likely you and your shoot partner have not met before and this is a bit of a weird situation, the Shoot Producer runs some getting-to-know-you activities, that also serve as some planning for the shoot itself.

Everyone was respectful of my boundaries. I felt like everyone worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and there was consent before everything” (Paisley, Dec 2021).

Chat about the shoot plan, assign Challenges and Objectives

The Shoot Producer will ask for your ideas and share their own ideas on how the shoot will unfold. They’ll also set some special tasks you need to complete in the shoot (these may be secret from your shoot partner, to make it more interesting!) – we call these Challenges and Objectives.

“She [Shoot Producer Giulia] was very thorough and clear that we should be enjoying each other and that we should be comfortable. I liked that about her… There is something to be said for getting the right shot but she valued us doing something pleasurable” (Paisley, Dec 2021).

Shoot “Before the shoot” interview

The Shoot Producer will ask you guys to ask each other some questions about what you think will happen during the shoot. We’ll record this for video. The Shoot Producer might leave you two alone for this part of the shoot, with the cameras on tripods.

“About my boundaries, that was something I was concerned about beforehand, but I knew my shoot partner and she understands my boundaries. We had a moment before the shoot to talk about what we do and don’t enjoy. That made things easier for me to understand what to do and not to do… That’s very important so there are no messy surprises!” (Gizela, Nov 2021)

“Before we had a talk with my Shoot Partner Maddie about what everybody expected to happen about what I liked, what I wanted, what I didn’t want, what I would like to try and to happen and to not. Everything was very clearly talked through. Ursula [Shoot Producer] told us that we had to have this conversation. We did this off-camera and then we repeated some of the conversations again on camera.” (Viviana, Jul 2021)

Start shooting stills

Girl-girl sex shoots are usually shot for still images first, taking around three hours. You’ll both start clothed, likely some sort of non-sexual activity. Then a kiss or a touch… more info on the sorts of things you’ll be doing.

A key difference between Solo shoots and girl-girl sex shoots is that models ignore the camera in girl-girl sex shoots, which means, you never look into the camera for the main part of the shoot (Backstage images are an exception to this rule).

“I really like doing the stills. The first part is low-pressure. You can talk and enjoy each other and have a good time… I had a lot of fun doing the stills!” (Paisley, Dec 2021).

Have lunch

As always, we’ll provide a modest lunch. More info.

“It was really nice! Guilia [Shoot Producer] had her dog and made us tea and made us lunch… It was like a day with friends” (Delfine, Nov 2021).

Meet the second camera person

Video is shot in the afternoon, with two video cameras, so there are two video camera operators, the Shoot Producer and a Second Camera Operator who typically arrives during the lunch break. Like the Shoot Producer, they’ll be professional and friendly.

“She was lovely! She came in while we had our break so we had a little time to get to know each other without the filming. So that was perfect. We got to know each other as normal people, not just people who have sex right now. She was very subtle, very very polite, didn’t take up any space. Which was great because there were already three people there. Every now and then she had a little joke, which was good for the vibe. She was the SCO on my second GGT3 as well so it was great to see her there again.” (Flo, Apr 2021)

Get clean again

You both have another shower and brush your teeth.

Warm-ups again

Some physical and vocal warm-ups again, to prepare for the video component.

Start shooting video

The video part of the scene tends to have less direction than the stills (customers don’t want to hear the Shoot Producer talking!), and ideally, it’s one continuous shot, between 45 and 60 minutes. But usually, there’ll be some stops and starts, and it’s always fine to say, “Hang on, I need to stop!” for any reason. The cameras will stop recording, and we address the issue.

Again, neither model will look at the camera during this shoot: we want you to be 100% focused on your partner. Communicate and be enthusiastic.

“I think I was worried about it feeling overwhelming beforehand… The Shoot Producer Giulia and the Second Camera Operator were both almost invisible. I worried that the camera would be on top of me, but they were very discreet. That was my biggest fear, but it was more comfortable than I was expecting it to be” (Gizela, Nov 2021).

Shoot “After the shoot” video

Sort of a “bookend” for the “Before the shoot” video shot in the morning, the Shoot Producer will ask some questions for you guys to answer. This is to-camera (and to each other). Kind of a “post-game review” of what happened.

“It was easy to work with my partner. It was nice to share that moment with her. I felt connected to her and she was cool and there were good vibes. We started smiling and finished smiling and were smiling even after that!” (Eve S, Oct 2021)

Paperwork finalise

There’s some more paperwork to finalise in Homonoia, to make sure you get paid.

And we’re done! Typically, we’re together for around nine hours on a shoot day, but it could be a little less or more.

“I felt extremely taken care of by the team. It was an enormous flight delay but I didn’t feel alone during that. I felt supported and cared for.

The shoots themselves were fun! It wasn’t, like, easy, but it didn’t feel like work. I am very happy with everything. I feel like the video and everything is going to look great! I am so happy with the experience and the opportunity. It was a great trip” (Selvaggia, Dec 2021).
