Guest Direction shoots FAQ

Answering your questions about our Guest Direction Shoot Type. This short FAQ here only covers questions specific to Guest Direction shoots – our General Questions FAQ has info on things that are common to all the shoots we make.

Guest Direction shoots

The Guest Director will be well-prepared with a written plan of ideas to explore the Main Model (and her own) physicality and sexuality. Together, you’ll be doing activities – “challenges” (we actually call them “gambits”).

The Main Model selects the maximum Posing Level she is comfortable with, and that never changes on a Guest Direction shoot.

Some example gambits include;

  • Let’s swap bras! You take mine off, and I will put it on you. How are they different? Now you put your bra on me.
  • How hard can you slap my butt?
  • Let’s see if I can feel it when you touch my pussy through my jeans – how hard do you have to push for me to feel it? I’ll close my eyes. Then you do me!
  • Let’s taste our pussies, and describe it!
  • Does a finger in your asshole feel different to a thumb – can you tell which one I am using now? What if I wiggle it like this?

There are around 30 gambits on a typical Guest Direction shoot.

Most gambits follow a “fair’s fair” principle, a you-do-me-then-I’ll-do-you playout. Models are encouraged to explore their bodies and sexuality, test limits, and to have fun! 😀

The shoot day typically lasts 9 hours on-set, that includes preparation, warm ups, briefing, the shoot itself, lunch and snacks, paperwork and cleanup.

The Main Model in a Guest Direction shoot must;

  • Before the shoot day
    • Select a maximum Posing Level she is familiar with
    • Communicate with the Shoot Booking Model Liaison and Shoot Producer to organise the date, place and time of the shoot, and submit grooming images when requested
    • Communicate with the Guest Director a few days before the shoot
  • On the shoot day
    • Communicate openly about their boundaries and actively respond honestly to consent questions throughout the day
    • Observe the Guest Director’s stated boundaries, ask for and listen to their consent
    • Be engaged in what is happening throughout the shoot
    • Be happy and curious, with a dirty and open mind!
  • After the shoot day
    • Respond to our email asking for some small feedback about the Guest Director and your experience, so we can improve.

Models’ safety and consent are the most important things in all shoots we make.

We work hard to help models understand what to expect on a Guest Direction shoot – this Guest Direction FAQ is the main part of this, and we encourage models to read it carefully, and ask us questions. This helps set the “playing field” – we call it “setting expectations”.

Before we start capturing video on the shoot day, the Guest Director will deliver a Pre-Shoot Briefing, an interactive discussion about what will happen today, how we’ll deal with problems, how we’ll make an excellent shoot. There’s ample time to ask questions and set boundaries before the shoot starts.

During each challenge (“gambit”) in a Guest Direction shoot – there’s around 30 – the model’s consent is asked for, and the model is free to decide how to respond. There’s no “penalty” for not giving consent. In fact, if a model is uncomfortable in a Guest Direction shoot at any time, they can call a stop, or use the “safe word” chosen before the shoot starts.

If that happens, we’ll stop the activity immediately, and stop recording video.

Then we discuss how to move forward. Maybe we need to;

  • Change how this challenge works
  • Add a cushion to kneel on, for more comfort
  • Do this one sitting on the sofa instead of the floor
  • Require less bending
  • Try a different challenge instead
  • “Downgrade” the Posing Level for this shoot
  • Cancel the shoot entirely.

Whatever the model decides, it’s never a problem. The Guest Director and Shoot Producer make a plan with the Model, and we’ll follow through on that plan (if the decision is to cancel the shoot, we’ll probably destroy the media, and the model will not be paid – but that decision will be made a few days after the shoot, by the creative department. The model’s input will be requested before a decision is made).

Unlike most of our other shoots, the model will not know exactly what is going to happen in a Guest Direction shoot (the model’s first genuine reaction to the challenges are part of what makes Guest Direction shoots interesting to our customers).

That means the Main Model needs to trust the Guest Director to respect their boundaries. This is a key part of Guest Director training, and Guest Directors are also selected for their compassion and empathy.

The model’s selected Posing Level will never be exceeded, for example;

Model Jane chose to do a Guest Direction shoot, and set her Posing Level as Open Leg.

Guest Director Beth designs a shoot with that in mind, creating challenges and activities that do not involve touching each other’s pussies (the main differentiator between the Open Leg and Explicit Posing Levels).

During the shoot, Guest Director Beth is careful to never cross the line to Explicit Posing level Activities.

The Shoot Producer is also “on the lookout” for pushing the boundaries too much, and Jane is encouraged regularly to speak up if she is uncomfortable.

It is very unlikely a model will appear in more than one Guest Direction shoot, with the same, or another Guest Director.

However, Guest Directors appear in many shoots.

First, to be clear, the Guest Director and Shoot Producer are not sexual partners! Both are contractors to abbywinters.com, much like yourself as a model.

However, the SP and GD have probably worked together on many abbywinters.com shoots in the past few years, and likely enjoy a friendly co-working relationship.

Work on a Guest Direction shoot is a collaboration of three professionals working together to make excellent media for our customers.

The Guest Director is responsible for everything that happens in front of the camera for the shoot. They are experienced abbywinters.com models who have completed technical and creative training for planning, directing and participating in Guest Direction shoots. Guest Directors get naked themselves and extensively interact sexually with the Main Model.

The Main Model is selected from our model base, who have appeared in at least one abbywinters.com shoot. We select for models who are sexually open and enthusiastic about appearing in a largely un-scripted “anything goes” (within their stated boundaries) shoot.

The Shoot Producer is responsible for everything that happens behind the camera in a Guest Direction shoot. That includes everything technical and logistical, such as location, camera, sound and lighting considerations. Paperwork, catering, backstage capture, and media admin (as applies to all shoots we make) is also the responsibility of the Shoot Producer. They have completed extensive initial training, and participate in ongoing training around making shoots with abbywinters.com.

Even though the Guest Director and Shoot Producer have been formally trained and the Main Model – you – have not, the shoot should not feel unbalanced. The Main Model brings her own wealth of experiences and personality to the shoot, and that’s what the shoot is about!

We all regularly give each other feedback so everyone knows here they stand. It’s nice to compliment people on small things, too – see what you can find!

If you have your period on a Guest Direction shoot, you and the Guest Director must agree on how to proceed – here are some options.

It also depends on your selected Posing Level – if an Insertions Posing Level Guest Direction shoot was booked, and both the Model and Guest Director want to proceed, the shoot will probably be downgraded to an Explicit shoot, and the model will wear a sponge or moon cup to catch the menstrual blood.

We’re looking for more Guest Directors in cities our Shoot Producers work in. Email the Creative Director Garion Hall on garion.hall@abbywinters.com to express interest. They will review our records about you, and invite you to apply.

Unfortunately, emails sent from our CD back to you may be caught by your spam filter, so please be sure to check there for a response.

We usually invite models to appear in Guest Direction shoots. Not all models can be offerred a Guest Direction shoot, but being enthusiastic about appearing in one certainly helps! 😉

Let the Booking Model Liaison know you’re interested! Email them on model.liaison@abbywinters.com.

Guest Direction shoots work best when the Main Model and Guest Director are both engaged in the shoot (as opposed to, the Guest Director just “doing things” to the Main Model, or the Main Model “doing what she is told” đŸ„±).

The Guest Director has literally spent hours making a written plan to have a dirty mind (with support from the company) to make an interesting shoot, but there’s plenty of room for you to “think dirty” as well.

At it’s most basic, dirty sex is all about trying new things, and doing what feels good, without feeling the pressure of societal norms (or working against anyone’s consent, of course!). For example, you might be pushing some personal boundaries, doing things you’ve always wanted to do, but never felt comfortable to ask.

Or maybe you think of something that would really turn you on, but you don’t want to “get into trouble” by taking control from the Guest Director (this is never a problem – it’s just being engaged in the shoot!đŸ€©). Maybe the Guest Director drop a hint about some sexy thing they like. Or maybe, you think something would just be sexy and interesting and you want to give it a go?

“Dirty sex” is different for everyone, and does not have to consist of “extreme” sex acts (but it can). Some practical examples include;

  • While GD is touching your thigh and talking about something, interrupt her to ask if you can feel her breasts
    • If she gives consent, explore her breasts deeply
  • When you’re both nude, ask your shoot partner how good she is at wrestling
    • Then do it!
  • As soon as your Guest Director’s pussy is revealed, ask to smell it
    • Smell it deeply, and describe how it makes you feel right now
  • Touch your fingers to your own wet pussy, and hold them near your Guest Director’s mouth – ask if they want a taste?
    • If she gives permission, do it, and gently feel inside her mouth with your fingers
  • Ask your GD if you can tie her up
    • Then

  • Ask the GD if you can pee on her feet
    • And invite her to do the same to you
  • While GD is inserting a dildo in you, ask her if you can put a finger in her asshole

In short, be sexually proactive! There’s no judgement here đŸ€.

Our shots are “paced”, to build tension and excitement for customers – you’ll start off doing more conservative stuff, then gradually work toward your highest Posing Level. If you suggest something that’s more suitable for a higher Posing Level, the Guest Director may redirect you so that can be done later in the shoot. Bring it up again, for sure!

We have some reasonably strict “brand guidelines”, which means that not every idea is appropriate. For example, play with faeces, alcohol, drugs and / or violence is never appropriate in abbywinters.com shoots. We also want to steer clear of “porn tropes” (for example, “Let’s see who fakes and orgasm the best!”). If you suggest something off-brand, the Guest Director will guide you and workshop the idea to make an “on-brand” version if possible.

In addition to the standard things models bring to all abbywinters.com shoots (IDs and clothes), Guest Direction models should bring a towel (for drying yourself after showers), and any props or special clothing items discussed with your Guest Director.

And, a sunny disposition! 😁

Guest Direction shoots are a separate Shoot Type we make that involve two models interacting sexually in unexpected ways. We have designed Guest Direction shoots to be quite different from our Girl Girl Hardcore and Double Video Masturbation shoots, that also show models interacting sexually.

Guest Direction shoots are shot for video-only (but with plenty of Backstage images). We use three video cameras, one in the hands of the Shoot Producer, one on a tripod, and a small one (a modern smartphone) in the hands of the Guest Director.

We train up Guest Directors – former abbywinters.com models like you – to plan a shoot with many unexpected moments and challenges. During the shoot, The Guest Director is on-camera with the Main Model, issuing challenges and directions and tasks to complete together. The media is captured by a Shoot Producer, but they do not direct the scene – Shoot Producers are only responsible for the logistics and technical aspects of Guest Direction shoots.

The Main Model selects her preferred Posing Level (as they are applied to Solo shoots), and in the weeks before the shoot, the Guest Director plans a series of challenges and activities for the shoot.

Guest Direction shoots are very “hands on” – the Guest Director will be touching you all over your body, extensively for the entire shoot – just as you will be expected to touch the Guest Director all over their body throughout the shoot.

Guest Direction shoots are best suited to models who are comfortable with their body and sexuality, and like being challenged.

Both models are always tested for STIs before participating in a Guest Direction shoot.
