There’s no problem using lube in girl-girl shoots, but we’re always careful to use the minimum amount necessary. Don’t squirt out a cupcake 🧁 sized blob on your hand, whack it on your partner’s vulva, then insert your pinkie finger inside her vagina – that’s overkill. ⚰️
Too much lube makes the scene feel like a professional porn setting (where lube use is common, and distracting if used poorly) – we can always see too much lube because it gets everywhere, on the floor, on the thighs, dribbling down to the knees.
A little bit of lube goes a long way – aim for a pinkie-fingernail sized blob first. Apply to the area, give it a go. Not enough? Add another pinkie-fingernail sized blob, and see how it goes.
It’s fine to do this many times if necessary, but stop when it’s enough (and add a little more later in the scene if necessary for comfort).
