Receiving payments to your EU bank account

This page is about receiving payments to your bank account held in the European Union ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ (eg, Germany, France, UK, Netherlands, etc).

If your bank account is not in the EU, see the Non-EU bank accounts page. Also see the Receiving money from abbywinters.com page for more general info. See the Payments FAQ for

Bank Transfer within the European Union

Paying you by Bank Transfer within the EU is fast (one to two days maximum), simple, and typically cost-free for you, although some non-Dutch banks may charge you a flat fee to receive money from a Dutch bank (more info in our Bank Fees FAQ).

We need:

  • Your full name (as it appears in your bank’s records)
  • Your IBAN

Ask your bank for your IBAN if you donโ€™t know what it is (though this should be clearly indicated when you log in to internet banking!), and email this to your abbywinters.com contact.

Uh, I am in the EU, but I don’t have an IBAN?

Sounds countries (for example, UK) don’t use IBAN’s for domestic bank transfers (for example, Brits use bank account number and a sort code).

No problem, the excellent IBAN calculator can help – simply enter your bank account number and sort code and it will “create” an IBAN for you (IBANs are constructed from a predictable set of rules). You can double-check the numbers are correct.

Alternatively, your online banking app might provide this info for you.
