Overview
abbywinters.com BV is committed paying models promptly and correctly.
Shoot payments are made in the Euro (€) currency
abbywinters.com BV is a Dutch company and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 are part of the European Union 🇪🇺, so payments for shoots we make are in the Euro currency 💶.
If you don’t live in Europe, your bank account is probably in a different currency (for example, US Dollars), and even if you do live in Europe, you might use a different currency 🇬🇧 🇳🇴 🇨🇭. Your bank account can probably receive the money we send – they will just convert it to the equivalent in your local currency. Check with your bank to be sure.
What one Euro is worth in your local currency varies a little each day, due to fluctuations in the currency exchange market (it’s super complicated, but this short video gives a good practical overview). Check a Currency Converter to see what it is for you currency right now.
🚨 This means that models for abbywinters.com around the world all earn the same amount, but the number will be different. For example, an American model will receive a different amount in her bank account than an Australian model, but the value of what they receive will be equal. That’s fair. 🤑
Methods for receiving payment
We have a few methods for paying models;
Bank Transfer
We make model payments by Bank Transfer. This is sometime called EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), or a “Wire”.
Paxum
You provide your Paxum email address, we pay you. Fast and reliable. Recommended, but check how you can get money out of Paxum – it may cost you money, but that depends on where you live.
Nooooo PayPal
Unfortunately PayPal – while convenient for you and us – have strict rules dis-allowing payments for “adult” work. While they may not notice if we send-and-receive, we risk them finding out and they will close our account and your account! We have had several PayPal accounts be closed for this in the past (one time, they kept all our money, too!).
Finding your bank details
Finding the necessary bank details to ensure prompt and correct payment can be complicated. There are some big differences between EU and non-EU bank accounts, we’ve split this up.
-
Receiving payments to your bank account in the EU
- If you bank account is in the EU, EEA, or you have an IBAN to identify your bank account, this is for you
- People with bank accounts in the UK are included in this definition
-
Receiving payments to your non-EU bank account
- If you have a bank account in the US, Canada, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, or other non-European country, this is for you
- If you do not have an IBAN (or know what one is), this is for you
Not sure where you fit in? Let us know what country your bank is based in, and we’ll help! 😀
